The President of the Republic, Pedro Castillo, criticized his opponents again this Wednesday, August 17, pointing out that they only care about “showing their mistakes on the big screen”.
Through his Twitter account, he indicated that many provincial congressmen who have presented bills are “discriminated against and treated with indifference”because they do not receive green light.
“They only care about putting on the big screen what we were wrong about. I wish they would report on the work that the Executive does in favor of the country’s citizens and on the riches and traditions of our ancient peoples “he pointed.
“I appreciate the support and trust of our brother leaders from the population centers of Ayacucho, Apurímac, Huancavelica, Cajamarca and others. The time has come for decentralization, we are going to get rid of centralism and take the State to every corner of the country”added Castillo Terrones on the social network.
As is recalled, the president again had a lapse when confuse the name of the Peruvian historian Jorge Basadre and call it wrong “Joseph Basadre”.
During his speech, from the Government Palace, at the ceremony in honor of the 93rd anniversary of the reintegration of Tacna into Peru, which will be commemorated in the coming days, the head of state quoted a phrase from the historian, but made a mistake by mentioning his Name.
“As our historian José Basadre would say: ‘Peru is a problem, but it is also a possibility.’ This government is a possibility for all Peruvians”stated peter castle.
