Pedro Castillo: "There has always been an intention of wanting to get out of this Government"

The president of the Republic, said that from the beginning of his government there were attempts to want to remove him from office and that, despite this, he keeps the path of dialogue open to work for the country.

“Only spaces for dialogue will move the country forward. I do not want to go further into issues of a purely political nature because for more than a year we have been making the effort to go down to the regions, take ministers to decentralized councils and there has always been an intention of wanting to get down from this Government when it has a horizontal line and permanent work with the people”, he commented.

The president participated in the inauguration of a school in Pacasmayo.

Castillo Terrones, at a dialogue table with local authorities, ministers and congressmen from Lambayeque, stressed that citizens do not feed on “ideologies” or speeches.

“Just as we feel in our own flesh, what does political confrontation hurt? Not to Pedro Castillo, it harms the Peruvian people, “he said.
