In the early hours of this Tuesday, March 7, the Special Team of Prosecutors against Corruption, headed by Colonel Harvey Colchado, and the Special Support Team of the National Police have been carrying out an operation in different homes in Lima, in the framework of an operation against an alleged criminal organization linked to former President Pedro Castillo.
Among the houses intervened by the authorities is the property of businessman Henry Shimabukuro, whom the justice system considers to be part of the group known as Shadow Advisors, linked to the management of the former executive leader who is currently imprisoned in the Barbadillo prison.
This raid, in particular, seeks to collect evidence that allows progress in the investigations of the investigators in charge of the case involving Castillo and his close circle.
Likewise, the Prosecutor’s Office and the Police arrested Jorge Ernesto Hernández Fernández, known as ‘Español’, in a house in the La Molina district. According to the information given by the authorities, this subject was allegedly in charge of recruiting hitmen and bad police elements.
The objective? According to the version of the forces of order, an attempt on the life of Colonel Harvey Colchado.
The charges presented by alias ‘Español’ are, in addition to criminal organization, influence peddling, obstruction of justice and conspiracy for the crime of hit man.
