It is no secret to anyone the closeness that the Republic President, peter castlewith members of the National Federation of Education Workers of Peru (Fenatep). What is striking and suspicious about this link is that before it was decreed to modify the statutes of the Magisterial Spillthe president held meetings at the Government Palace with founders and referents of the aforementioned union.
The Republic accessed the registry of visits from the Presidency and other ministries in order to investigate how often the members of the union, which was founded by Castillo in 2017, visit State entities.
In the search it was found that although the leaders of Fenatep enter the Palace, they also hold meetings in the Ministries of Education, Energy and Mines, Housing, Construction and Sanitation, as well as Agrarian Development and Irrigation.

Segundo Vasquez Gonzalez Like Pedro Castillo, he is one of the founders of Fenatep. Currently, Vásquez is the general secretary of the union and his relationship with the head of state seems to remain the same as when they led the Conare-Sute teachers’ strike (2017).

Mery Coila Ramirez, former member of the Movement for Amnesty and Fundamental Rights (Movadef) and linked to Fenatep, also visited the president in the Palace up to three times. The appointments were given in the months of January, March and April. Coaila also visited the Midagri and Mincetur facilities in January and April, respectively.

The former member of the National Committee for Reorientation and Reconstitution (Conare) and now prefect of the Junín region entered the Presidency on April 7. Leaders visit various ministries
Moisés Chipana Chipana, Mauro Concha Villegas, Lourdes Maraví Reyes, Rosa Pérez Ramírez, Javier Villanueva Gonzáles are the other leaders of the National Federation of Workers in Education of Peru (Fenatep) who appear on the list.
Although they have not visited the President of the Republic, according to the registry of visits from the Transparency portal, they have held meetings in the Minedu, Mincetur, Minam, Midagri, Midis and MVCS.
