The president of the Republic, peter castleassured that on July 28, in his message to the nation, he will make a balance of the first year of his administration, a period in which he was initiated five tax investigations against him. The head of state also announced that he will announce the objectives of his government for “the next year and those to come.”
“In a few days, we will commemorate the 201st national anniversary, the most important date in the country. This new anniversary must find us united. Peru is one and nobody divides it. It must be an opportunity to renew the commitment that we all have with the country. To continue fighting (against) the great scourges, such as poverty, inequality, insecurity and corruption,” said Castillo Terrones at the ceremony for the 81st anniversary of the immolation of José Abelardo Quiñones and the Air Force Day of the Peru.
In this sense, the president asserted that his administration seeks to attend “with the greatest decision the just demands of the people.”

“On July 28 we will take stock of the road traveled and we will present Peruvians with the country’s goals for the following year and the years to come. Because our goal is to better meet the just demands of the people with the greatest decision. We know that the road will always be full of difficulties because nothing has been easy, neither yesterday nor today. But we will continue to work with greater effort and determination to promote growth, development and strengthen democratic institutions within the framework of a dialogue with all sectors for the good of the country,” added the president.
