The president of the Republic, peter castlemade a surprise visit to two educational institutes in the Collique area, in Comas, and left the place without making any statement to the press.
The head of state visited, first, the Colegio San Martín and then went to the Educational Institute 2060 Virgen de Guadalupe.
The activity, in sector 4 of Collique, in Comas, was carried out with a police fence that prevented the press from approaching the head of state or entering the schools.
After several minutes, Pedro Castillo left in his official caravan accompanied by the Minister of Education, Rosendo Serna, and other officials who did not speak to the press.
The director of the Virgen de Guadalupe school, Samuel Alcalde López, confirmed that they did not have clear information about the visit of President Castillo Terrones.
“He has come to ask about the status of the (comprehensive school improvement project), to offer us his support so that it comes to light because it would benefit more than 15,000 children from the UGEL 04 educational network 09. [¿Sabía que iba a venir Pedro Castillo?] We had some ideas, we talked to each other but we didn’t believe so soon, which pleases us a lot”declared to RPP.
