However, he added that this is a personal faculty. As is known, the head of the Ministry of Defense is questioned about the issue of military promotions.
“It seems to me that the minister (Ayala) has already made his position available. In my opinion, he should have resigned, not just made his position available. But that is a personal faculty. Its continuity must be decided by President Pedro Castillo together with Prime Minister Mirtha Vásquez. I do not know if the Secretary General of the Palace (Bruno Pacheco) is still in office or not, but that must also be decided by the president, ”Torres told La República.
