Journalist Enrique Chávez, who recently stated that he was fired from TV Peru, explained that the new president of the state channel, Julio Navarro, warned him and his colleagues to take care of the comments they broadcast on their respective programs.
According to Chávez, during Navarro’s presentation upon entering TV Peru, he specified that the opinions expressed on the air should have a higher level of evaluation and thought before being shared.
“When Mr. Navarro gave his presentation, in a zoom with 100 people, he said that we had to be very careful with the opinions that we broadcast on the air and that is why I connect it with what I am telling you about the mononews, with a single driver” , commented in an interview in Epicenter.
