The president of the Republic, peter castleparticipates this Wednesday in the first meeting for the development of the Puno region. This activity takes place from 10:00 am in the Plaza de Armas of the city of Juliaca, according to the Press Secretary of the Government Palace.
The Government plans the attendance of more than 1,000 citizens of this region, among whom are leaders of social organizations, regional authorities, mayors and congressmen representing this jurisdiction.
In this sense, he explained that the social organizations that participate in this meeting are: the Unified Defense Front of the Coata River Basin and of People Affected by Heavy Metals, the Comprehensive Water and Sewage Project of the Unión Juliaca and San Ramón Urbanizations and representatives of the Llallimayo basin.
The official agenda maintains that the head of state will participate after the words offered by the provincial mayor of San Román, David Sucacahua and the regional governor of Puno, Germán Alejo Apaza, and the intervention of the leaders of the organizations.
As it is recalled, last Tuesday, the maximum president led the XVII Decentralized Council of Ministers that was held in the Arequipa region.
In said decentralized session, Castillo Terrones urged local governors to work together to meet the needs of their citizens and promote works. Likewise, he said that these Councils of Ministers were going to continue, for which he called on the congressmen from the various regions to unite.
