Starting at 8:00 am, the session of the Council of Ministers was scheduled to begin, led by Mirtha Vásquez. Heads of the Ministries of Transport and Communications, Juan Silva; of Foreign Trade and Tourism, Roberto Sánchez; Chancellor Óscar Maúrtua, of Justice and Human Rights, Aníbal Torres, among other heads of the portfolio, went to the seat of the Government Palace.
One of the issues to be discussed will be the adoption of preventive measures and actions to continue strengthening the Peruvian health system, following the announcement by the Minister of Health, Hernando Cevallos, about the start of a third wave of COVID-19.
