The Judiciary scheduled for the morning of this Wednesday, December 14, the hearing in which it will evaluate the request for 18 months of preventive detention against Pedro Castilloinvestigated for the coup that he announced through a message to the Nation.
Through social networks, it was reported that the Supreme Court of Preparatory Investigation scheduled the hearing for Wednesday the 14th at 9:30 a.m.

It should be remembered that this same day expires the term of the seven days of preliminary detention that the same court approved against Castillo Terrones, since this measure began to count on December 7, when the former president was intervened by members of Security of the State that they were transferring him out of the Government Palace.
The request for this restriction also reaches the former president of the Council of Ministers, Aníbal Torres, who assured on Twitter that he was going into hiding after being included in the investigation into the coup.
The Public Ministry requested 18 months of preventive detention against the vacated former president Pedro Castillo, as a result of the inquiries that were made about the coup that took place last Wednesday, December 7, when trying to close Congress.
The Prosecutor’s request comes after the Supreme Court of Preparatory Investigation approved the formalization of the preparatory investigation against Castillo Terrones and Aníbal Torres, in their capacity as adviser to the Presidency of the Council of Ministers (PCM).
The National Prosecutor, Patricia Benavides, accuses the former head of state of the alleged crimes of rebellion, conspiracy, abuse of authority and disturbance of public tranquility. While Torres Vásquez is attributed the alleged crimes of rebellion and conspiracy as a co-author.
