After the latest statement by the President of the Republic, Pedro Castillo Terrones, in which he announced that he would recompose the cabinet, certain suspicions have been raised that point to different political figures to assume the ministerial portfolios. Thus, today it was learned through the Transparency Standard portal that former congressman Roger Nájar, previously called to be the prime minister, today he visited the Government Palace.
The record indicated that Nájar attended government palace and had a conversation with the head of state for almost three hours. The portal indicated that the entry time from 4:40 pm to 7:25 pm
Nájar has had a certain closeness with the ruling party, since months ago he was recommended by the general secretary of Peru Libre, Vladimir Cerron, to preside over the Council of Ministers; however, this proposition was never carried out.

Roger Nájar Kokally is a 65-year-old Peruvian economist, businessman and politician. He was a congressman of the Republic during the period 2006-2011.
It is native to the province of Colonel Portillo (Ucayali). He was a congressman from Union for Peru (UPP) during the period 2006-2011.
In 2018, the former congressman applied to be governor of Ucayalí, but did not reach the goal. Three years later, in 2021, he applied to be a congressman, but was excluded from the list of Peru Libre.
