Pedro Castillo: former public official claims to have made payments to the president's nephew in exchange for a job

The program Cuarto Poder presented tonight the complaint made by the public accountant former general manager of the National Superintendency of State Assets (SBN) who claimed to have made payments to the president’s nephewJaime Vásquez Castillo, in exchange for giving him a position in the aforementioned institution.

According to his account, the man gave money five times for working at the Superintendency as head of the Office of Administration and Finance.

According to Lucio, he made cash payments directly to Jaime Vásquez Castillo on two occasions, and to Peru Libre activist and SBN official Edgar León Ordoñez on three occasions.

Following his narration, he presented his resume to the SBN when he found out about a job, but they indicated that to close his contract he had to talk to León, who was a candidate for Congress for Vladimir Cerrón’s party in the extraordinary elections of 2020.

According to the accountant, León told him that he had to pass two filters to get the job: not have a record of corruption or any sanction, and a monthly “collaboration” of S / 2,000 that would come out of his salary.

It should be noted that Jaime is the brother of Fray Vásquez Castillo, who is currently a fugitive from justice and is being investigated by the Public Ministry for alleged corruption.
