This was confirmed by the president of the Subcommittee on Constitutional Accusations, Lady Camonesin the session this Friday.
The aforementioned final report recommends that the head of state be disqualified for five years for the statements he made to CNN about an eventual exit to the sea for Bolivia.
“We will consult the people, for that we need the people to express themselves,” Castillo said when asked by the journalist Fernando del Rincón about whether he planned to cede the sea to the high plateau state.
Initially, the case was delegated to the populist Wilson Soto. However, he was removed from the subcommittee by his caucus. The file would fall on the parliamentarian Diego Bazán.

“Anything a president can say is binding on the country. The president personifies our nation, the homeland. In this case, the will of Mr. Castillo to indicate this possibility in an international environment has led to this report. I cannot advance a position on this, not only because I am the rapporteur congressman: I also have to vote. What I want to avoid in this circumstance prior to the vote is that I am forced to refrain from precisely this, since we are counting the votes one by one, ”he told RPP.
Dina Boluarte
In this Friday’s session, the deadlines for the constitutional complaint against the Vice President and Minister of Development and Social Inclusion, Dina Boluarte, were also refined.
According to the technical secretary of the Subcommittee on Constitutional Accusations, the Fujimorist Martha Moyano requested documentation from the Municipality of Lima after the former mayor Jorge Muñoz appeared as a witness.
Until the request is received, the congressman from Cambio Democrático and delegate of the complaint, Edgar Reymundo, will not be able to prepare the final report of this case.
