The president of the Republic, peter castleruled on the Kidnapping of Fourth Power journalist Eduardo Quispe along with his cameraman, which took place in the Chadín district of the Cajamarca region, last Wednesday, July 6. “I strongly reject any act of violence that violates personal freedoms, as well as freedom of the press and expression. We are respectful of the rule of law “(…) For this reason, we demand an investigation into what happened to the journalists of a media outlet in the Cajamarca region,” Pedro Castillo wrote on his Twitter account without providing further details.
Before the pronouncement of the head of state, the reporter from Cuarto Poder, Edward Quispe, blamed President Pedro Castillo for the kidnapping he and his cameraman suffered by the peasant patrols.
