Peak and plate in Cali: this is how it will work from April 17 to 21

This will be the 'peak and plate' this Monday in Cali

As in many capital cities of Colombia, in Cali the measure of ‘beak and plate’which restricts the mobility of some vehicles, depending on the license plate number on which the car ends.

Note that the constraint remains fixed during the first semester of the year, that is, until June 30, 2023. Then it will rotate, as confirmed by the Ministry of Mobility of the Valle del Cauca capital.

This is a 14-hour restriction that goes from 6:00 in the morning to 8:00 at night.

Thus, in the week of April 17 to 21, the ‘pico y placa’ will govern as follows:

  • Monday, April 17: plates ending in 3 and 4 will not be able to come out
  • Tuesday April 18: 5 and 6.
  • Wednesday April 19: 7 and 8.
  • Thursday April 20: 9 and 0.
  • Friday April 21: 1 and 2.

Keep in mind that the taxis, motorcycles, official, electric and hybrid vehicles, in combination electric diesel and electric gasoline.

It is worth mentioning that the value of the penalty fee for circulating during the ‘pico y placa’ is approximately $557,000.

Finally, if you are going to travel to the capital of Valle del Cauca, keep in mind that the restriction established in the decree also applies.
