Despite the fact that Ramón Castillo and Yorman Useche were released, there are still three detainees who also have release tickets that were issued by orders of the courts that have been carrying out their respective cases for months.
Ramón Castillo, a PDVSA worker, was released from prison on the afternoon of this Sunday, June 26, according to journalist Vladimir Villegas, through his Twitter account. The PDVSA worker is one of several detainees who have had a release ticket since 2021 and despite this they had not yet been released.
Yorman Useche, who was imprisoned in Rodeo II, was also finally released, although he had a release ticket dated November 22, 2021. Useche was previously imprisoned in Valle de la Pascua, Guárico state, and the order for his release was issued. is serving a seven-month delay.
Villegas highlighted that another PDVSA worker, Johana González, in addition to Hernán Guevara and Ramiro Farid, who are imprisoned for the same cause as Ramón Castillo, continue to be detained despite the fact that they also have an order from the courts, which issued months ago their respective release tickets, but they have been ignored by the prison authorities.
Ramón Antonio Castillo was charged in February 2017, when he held the position of Superintendent of Engineering and Specials of the Crude Oil Storage Terminal of the José Antonio Anzoátegui Petrochemical Complex. The Public Ministry accused him of allegedly being linked to the acquisition and irregular installation of two monobuoys for loading oil tankers.
What need was there to fail to comply with release tickets? Power struggle? And when will they comply with the freedom orders that they still do not comply with? @TarekWiliamSaab @TSJ_Venezuela @NicolasMaduro
