The election of the deputy Vlado Mirosević (PL) as the new president of the Lower House continues adding episodes in the caucus of the People’s Party (PDG). This is because they expelled the legislator from the community (bench) Francis Thumb (Ind-cupo PDG) by voting in favor of the new head of the corporation.
This decision of the PDG bench is added to the possible sanctions against the parliamentarians Gaspar Rivas, Ruben Oyarzo Y Karen Medina, by the committee. The former left the Chamber when the vote was held, while the latter two voted in favor of Mirosevic as did Pulgar. The final decision would be made on Monday in a new committee meeting.
Pulgar’s expulsion was taken at a committee meeting that had five votes in favor and three against. The parliamentarian criticized the measure, since he alleges the breach of article 43 of the body, which states that, in order to expel a deputy from his caucus, the measure must be supported unanimously. From the PDG they accuse Pulgar of not respecting the agreement that was carried out with Chile Let’s support the DC, Michelangelo Callisto.
He also rated –Third- the fact as unfortunate, since it prevents their free work in the corporation.
