As of April 21, the Presidency of the Council of Ministers (PCM) reiterated that the blockade of more than 1.5 million cell phones not registered in the White List of the National Registry of Mobile Terminal Equipment for Safety (renteseg) linked to users with highly negative history will begin.
Through its social networks, the PCM explained how this measure will be applied and those who would affect.
In that sense, the renteseg system orders the operators to block the equipment not registered in the white list. Then, the team user will receive a message or SMS With the notice that the cell phone will be blocked in a Maximum term of 2 business days.
After this period, the equipment will be blocked on the national mobile network. Finally, the same Equipment will be included in the blacklist.
It also recalls that citizens can make their consultations about this massive cell phone block through the number 1844, Fonoayuda Osiptel.
As is known, the theft of these cell equipment is usually sold again in commercial stores, harming the new user.
