This, after today, Friday, April 1, there are reports of clashes between protesters and police in Huancayo, and another group of protesters from La Oroya block sections of the Central Highway.

In addition, the PCM remarked that the Government is willing to solve social demands with dialogue.
As is public, on Thursday on its Twitter account the Presidency of the Council of Ministers announced that a dialogue commission will attend to the demands of heavy cargo carriers.
The protesters have assured that they will not abandon their measure as long as the Ministers of Agriculture and Transport and Communications or other representative of the Executive arrive at the rJunin Region.
Agreements had no effect
The unions of heavy load carriers, to which farmers and ranchers have joined in some regions, maintain the measure of force despite the agreements announced the day before by the President of the Council of Ministers, Hannibal Torres.
Torres reported yesterday that the MTC reached agreements with the National Union of Carriers and with the Confederation of Transporters of Peru to lift the indefinite strike of heavy cargo carriers nationwide.
