“From the PCM we deeply reject Reniec’s statements about an alleged data leak through the Interoperability platform. This is very clear and simple. data cannot be leaked from a platform that does not store data. Regarding what Reniec said in a statement, where it is detailed that cybercriminals “accessed the accounts and passwords of users of public institutions that have this service, the same ones that have already been blocked” through PIDE, Chocobar indicated ignore the reasons why said entity issued such a statement.

“I do not know the reasons why Reniec makes such a statement. The interoperability platform does not store any type of data, sensitive or non-sensitive. It is a platform that exchanges, connects. This is an investigation process, it will continue on its way and will determine where these responsibilities exist and in the end if a cybercrime has occurred or a system has been compromised”, pointed out.
