He defended the legality of the resources they have received from the part of the entity and the achievements that have been obtained in the country and in the region. He added that the funds have been executed in alliances with entities such as the Institutionality and Justice Foundation (Finjus), the Community Houses of Justice, Intec and Unibe.
“Although a minority has questioned that these funds are received, both its origins and the aims for those that have been used are legitimate and the benefits for our population are recognized in the region and in the world,” says the entity.

He explained that they have supported the institutionality of the country through programs to support the parties, justice, the municipality and electoral observation, women, young people, the police, among others. He regretted the closure of social programs that have contributed to democracy in the continent. He added that in the last two years, USAID contributions have decreased to its minimum expression, due to internal decisions of that country.
“These funds are monitored and audited, both by the agency and by independent auditors,” PC explained.
