Pavilions of the Itauguá Hospital are filling up again with covid patients

According to a report by Dr. Yolanda González, director of the Itauguá National Hospital, three hospital wards and one ward of the Intensive Care Unit are occupied by patients with COVID-19.

He also said that there are also beds that are occupied by all kinds of pathologies, such as influenza and pneumonia.

“Today 20 patients with pneumonia woke up. Now three hospital wards and one ICU ward are occupied by people with COVID,” said Dr. González in communication with Universo 970 of Nación Media.

The doctor made a call for attention, since she said that people come in being COVID negative and three or four days later they test positive, which means that they are not taking care of themselves and are infected in hospitals.

In this regard, he asked that people who go to hospitals wear masks at all times and take care of all health issues.
