Now, Timão will face São Paulo in the next phase of the competition. The other semifinal will put Palmeiras and Bragantino face to face.

Corinthians started the match better, and opened the scoring in the 42nd minute of the first half with a header from defender Gil after a corner kick from Renato Augusto. However, Bugre managed to equalize at 8 minutes of the final stage with João Victor.
