Gimnasia y Tiro de Salta, for its part, finished its 2022 after being eliminated in the round of 16 of the Federal tournament against Independiente de Chivilcoy in the penalty shootout. The Salta team, which last played in the First Division in 1998, will play the 32nd round of the Argentine Cup for the fifth time and will try to advance for the first time.
