Two routes will be enabled for the patriotic parades this November 3 and 4. The Ministry of Education (Meduca), through the National Commission of Patriotic Parades, explained that on each route a platform will be set up headed, the first by the chief executive and the other by the vice president.
This is Presidential Route 1, on Calle 50, whose route will start from the ‘Inteligente’ building and end at the old Bladex bank. The presidential box will be installed in the parking lots of the Novey Shopping Center, in front of the well-known Plaza New York, on the aforementioned road.
Route 2 Vice President, at the Reina Torres de Araúz Anthropological Museum, begins at Plaza 5 de Mayo, passes by the Astoria restaurant, then turns in front of the San Felipe Neri Market, to take towards Balboa Avenue and it is estimated that it ends in Calle 30 of the same vehicular artery.
Along this route, a stage will also be set up for the Vice President of the Republic and special guests in the car parks of the Cinta Costera, in front of Balboa Avenue.
The patriotic celebrations are celebrated this year with two parade routes through avenues of the capital city, after in 2020 they were not held due to the Covid-19 pandemic and, in 2021, presentations were made by music school bands and independents at the Rommel Fernandez stadium.
The National Commission for Patriotic Parades, created by Executive Decree 708 of August 23, 2010 and attached to the General Directorate of Education, is made up of 13 directors and heads of Meduca offices.
