The implementation of the complementary procedure for the granting of outpatient appointments in the Goyeneche Hospitalis not working in the way that the regional manager of Health, Christian Nova Palomino, had proposed, since patients have to wait several days to be seen by a specialist.
Since August 9, the emergency area of the hospital has been installed two temporary windows care so that people can get your appointment from 11 pm and receive their medical care the next day.

However, the director of the establishment, Wifredo Gutiérrez, said that the patients who come to said service these days are going to have to wait more than a week for your attention because the shifts of all specialties are covered.
“Care preferences are for patients who are referred from first-level centers through the Refcom system, unfortunately those who are going to request an in-person appointment are going to have to wait several days”, he said without specifying how long the waiting time will be, as he assured that it depends on the specialty for which they have carried out the procedure.
RECENTLY IMPLEMENTED SYSTEM DOES NOT SOLVE UNSATISFIED DEMAND
For Dr. Gonzalo Castañeda, president of the Goyeneche medical body, the temporary system that was implemented from the Regional Health Management, even with the inspection of Governor Kimmerlee Gutiérrez and Health Manager Christian Nova, It has not solved the underlying problem at allwhich is the unsatisfied demandassured that although the long waiting lines to obtain appointments are no longer seen, patients will still have to wait for their medical care while at home.
“What has been done is irrelevant because the offer has not been improved with more shifts to give immediate attention to the patient”, said.
He assured that there were attempts to make the clinics work in the afternoon, but when they wanted to do so, the payment of additional hours was not guaranteed.
