A patana loaded with cement lost the brakes and crashed into a house this Friday on the Navarrete highway, between Altamira and Puerto Plata.
According to the Trafico Expreso portal, there are two people dead and two injured.
As soon as the incident occurred, a large number of residents of the area came to help those affected.
Traffic remained congested in both directions for many minutes.
