An evangelical pastor was arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting his 12-year-old daughter, after the minor’s aunt filed a complaint with the authorities, stating that the abuse had taken place during the night.
The suspect was intercepted and apprehended while walking on public roads in the Argemiro Loaiza sector, in the Catatumbo municipality, Zulia state.
Officials from the Bolivarian National Police Corps, in Zulia, took the man, whose identity was not revealed, to the Sur del Lago Police Coordination Center and he remained in the custody of the Public Ministry.
For his part, the victim received medical attention at the Roque Alvarado hospital and the Forensic Service.
