The measure applies in the offices of the Civil Registry of the cities of Quito, Guayaquil and Cuenca on Saturdays in March.
The Civil registration informed that on Saturdays March 12, 19 and 26, 2022, attention will be extended for the issuance of passportsfrom 08:00 to 17:00, in the cities of Quito, Guayaquil and Cuenca.
Citizens who need to obtain their travel document must pay and schedule a turn in the virtual agency, entering the Civil registration.
Agencies
Agencies authorized to service passport They are:
- Quito: Head Office – Iñaquito, La Previsora Building, Av. Amazonas N37-61 and United Nations.
- Guayaquil: Zonal Government, Av. Francisco de Orellana and Justino Cornejo.
- Cuenca: San Blas, Luis Cordero Passage between Alfonso Jervez and Alfonso Malo
The cost of passport it’s $90 for the first time and renewal; senior citizens have a 50% discount; and for people with 30% disability or more, the service is free of charge.

Users belonging to vulnerable groups do not require scheduling; and, they must pay for the service directly in the collection module available inside the offices. (AVV)
