A passenger who had 38 finger cots of cocaine inside his body was detained by agents of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) at the Citizen Service Point located in Vega de Aza, Córdoba municipality, Táchira, according to military sources.
Yohan Javier Ortega is the detained person, who was traveling in a public transport vehicle from San Antonio del Táchira to Valencia (Carabobo). After being arrested, he was admitted to the central hospital of San Cristóbal (Táchira) where they applied a treatment for the expulsion of the finger cots that totaled 455 grams.
In that same checkpoint, Llayelis del Valle Tineo was captured, who also came by public transport from San Cristóbal (Táchira) to Caracas carrying three packages of marijuana weighing 130 grams in her private parts.
And at the La Palmita Citizen Service Point, Torbes municipality (Táchira), the military detained a subject of Colombian nationality identified as Juan Carlos Chona Vega who was accompanied by Alexander de Jesús Martínez.
The two men were traveling in a Pick-up truck, Ford F-150, license plate 7844VBU, in the back of which they carried twelve packages of marijuana, weighing six kilos three hundred and seventy grams.
Chona and Martínez came from Colombia and were headed to El Vigia (Mérida).
The four detainees were handed over to the Public Ministry where they opened proceedings for drug trafficking.
