Paso Canoas water treatment plant will be out of operations for four hours

The Institute of National Aqueducts and Sewers (IDAAN) informs that tomorrow Saturday, May 20 from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm the Paso Canoas water treatment plant will be out of operations due to improvement work in the raw water pumping station of the Chiriquí Viejo river as part of the progress and commitment that the National Government and IDAAN maintain with the Barú Living Forces to continue guaranteeing drinking water to the population.

The tasks consist of the interruption of the internal electrical service to achieve the connection of two new pumping equipment to the motor control center, affecting the service to our clients in the districts of Progreso, Rodolfo Aguilar Delgado, Baco and Puerto Armuelles.

IDAAN recommends that the population make rational use of water until the system is balanced. We reiterate that to make reports or queries related to the supply of drinking water you can call us at the Citizen Attention Center, dialing 311 or following our accounts on social networks: @IDAANinforma.
