A tragic traffic accident left four dead people and two children seriously injured on Friday night on the central road, at the height of the Huayllay crossing – Villa de Pasco.

The incident occurred at approximately 11:30 pm when an interprovincial bus of the national company, which covered the Cerro de Pasco-Huancayo route, collided frontally with a D5I-593 plate car tico, recorded in the name of Gerald Oliver López Rivera, which was heading towards Huánuco.
The impact was so strong that both vehicles were severely damaged, hindering rescue work. Among the fatalities are three adults and a minor, whose identities have not yet been revealed. A baby and another person were seriously injured and were transferred to the Daniel Alcides Carrión hospital.

The Traffic Police and Firefighters went to the place to support the rescue and transfer to the injured. Witnesses pointed out that the possible imprudence of one of the drivers and the conditions of the road could have influenced the accident. The authorities have already initiated investigations.
