A violent traffic accident occurred in the early hours of this Monday in the Quichas sector, Cerro de Pasco – Huariaca section, when a car and a truck collided sideways.

The impact left four people injured, including a one-year-old child, who were helped and taken to the Huariaca hospital. The injured were identified as Julio Hurtado Espinoza (58), Ana María Huamán Livia (50), Jhesenia Saavedra Huamán (21) and the minor Jhoan Torres Saavedra.

Agents from the National Police arrived at the scene to carry out the procedures and investigate the causes of the accident, while drivers are recommended to take extreme precautions when traveling through the area.
