At around 9:30 in the morning on Thursday, January 2, 2025, a traffic accident occurred on the Pasco – Huayllay road, a black vehicle crashed and overturned, leaving five people injured.

The accident occurred in the place called Huascacocha, the injured were identified as: Peceros Ripa David (41), Galvez Li Yanina (37), Rodriguez Alarcon Naomi (34), Cordova Bahamonte Alexander (36) and the minor with the initials TCR (09 ).

They were all taken to the District Health Center to verify their health status, then they managed to be referred to the Dr. Daniel Alcides Carrión Hospital by the staff of the Huayllay Health Center. It is presumed that the causes of the accident would have been weather conditions.
