Moments after announcing the results obtained at the convention of the Authentic Radical Liberal Party (PLRA), the comptroller of the party, Juan Nuñez, requested that Efraín Alegre’s balance sheet for 2016-2021 be immediately rejected. Likewise, he requested the hiring of an external audit for control and investigation.
“With great respect and sincerity, I am not to blame for what the papers say, I am only telling the truth, the money that was received from the electoral justice of the Ministry of Finance was transferred to him and the loans that were made, that is why as comptroller of the party I request this great convention to reject the balance”, he expressed.
Parliamentarian Manuel Morinigo also questioned that the comptroller presented the report on the balance sheet under management while he was away.
“This comptroller is elected in this period, not the one who has to give this report. So how is giving the report going, it is not from the stage that he has to approve, ”he explained.
