58 certificates were delivered to the participants of the diploma courses offered by the National School of Human Rights of the Ombudsman’s Office, in Venezuelan Sign Language, Human Rights of Boys, Girls and Adolescents with Disabilities, Brailler System, Rights of Boys, Girls and Adolescents, Human Rights and People’s Power; among others.
The activity was led by the Ombudsman, alfredo ruizaccompanied by the president of the National Council for Persons with Disabilities (Conapdis) and the José Gregorio Hernández Mission, Soraida Ramírez Osorio, who congratulated the participants.
During his opening remarks, the defender specified that “this is a moment of celebration because the knowledge of each one of you is reinforced. With this certificate we recognize the effort of each participant to improve human rights through the educational process, and what better way to do it than in our house of study”.
He stressed that this moment is an action of synergy between institutions of the Venezuelan State and society, so that we have positive results in favor of human rights.
Ruiz pointed out that “having a disability does not mean that they do not have an ability.” That is why he urges graduates to be multipliers of knowledge in each space where they have the opportunity to do so.
For her part, Soraida Ramírez, recognized and thanked the effort made by the National School of Human Rights and each facilitator, to deepen the culture of disability since it values the inclusion process and eliminates the myths that are still present in our society. current.
