Madrid, Spain.- A partial collapse occurred on Monday morning in Havana, in the building located in the Queen streetbetween Manrique and San Nicolás, next to the well -known bakery in the area and where the Chinese Chamber of Commerce operated.
The incident occurred around 6:30 am, when a room on the third floor collapsed over the second, as confirmed by neighbors to Cubanet. In the building there are about 15 families, around 50 people, who after the collapse remain on the street waiting for an response from the authorities of the Central Havana municipality.

One of the residents, identified as Magaly, 75, was trapped under the rubble. She was rescued and transferred to the hospital, according to this media a neighbor of the place.
So far, the authorities presented themselves briefly at the site but retired without offering immediate solutions, according to collected testimonies.
“Where are they going to send us, for the countryside? I don’t go to the field because I’m going to starve. Why don’t they send us to the Lincoln hotel that is empty?” He questioned one of the largest residents of the building.
