San Cristóbal De Las Casas, Chis., More than 500 migrants of different nationalities left in a caravan from the municipality of Tapanatepec, Oaxaca, to the center of the country, reported Mayor Humberto Parrazales, who added that if the immigration authorities do not speed up the delivery of documents, more contingents will come out in the coming days.
The official accompanied the caravan to the exit of the town, said on social networks that many of these foreigners arrived three or four weeks ago in the municipality, adjacent to Arriaga, Chiapas.
Town of San Pedro Tapanatepec: Today, at 5:30 in the morning, we arrived at the emerging migratory module and the first caravan was organized to relieve our town. Around 500 people or a little more of different nationalities, who had been waiting for an immigration process for more than 25 or even 30 days, advanced on their own feet.
He added: We walked from the 21 de Marzo neighborhood to the vicinity of the Novillero River; We prosecuted them and passed the migratory checkpoint. They are accompanied by Civil Protection, municipal police, our mobile ambulance clinic and National Guard to prevent any accident. This is a humanitarian issue

Parrazales stated that Tapanatepec has carried this with a lot of effort and we have done it practically alone. The people who are leaving the municipality are those who no longer have resources, who have run out of money after being here for so long and have nowhere to spend the night or what to eat.
