The National Assembly and the Congress of Colombia, through a statement, ratify the willingness of parliamentarians to hold binational meetings of legislative bodies, prior to the reopening of the Colombian-Venezuelan border scheduled for next Monday, September 26.
In the statement titled “Hope is the way. We are ready to hug again!” Cucutait was decided to postpone the binational meeting, announced for this Sunday 25.
It also establishes that there will be five scheduled meetings that will allow the voices of the border and set up work groups that address the structural issues of the border and its regional diversities.
