Santiago. The Santiago mayor’s office delivered a new park in the Corniel Urbanization, a work carried out with resources from the Participatory Budget, which joins other new spaces built by the management headed by Mayor Abel Martínez.
The work was inaugurated amid the uproar of the residents of the sector, who for a long time claimed a place for leisure and recreation.
Representing the mayor was the vice mayor Leonela Massiel Espinal, together with councilor Juan Gómez and officials from the town hall. The municipal executive expressed her satisfaction at being able to see the joy in the residents of the Corniel Urbanization, where children and other citizens have a healthy space in which they can enjoy.
“This is a park made with a lot of love for the whole family, so that this community can empower itself in this space, I hope you enjoy it, that the ties that unite you are stronger every day,” he said.
