Things at the Pepín Cárdenas Educational Institution (IE N° 37001) are getting more and more difficult. Parents will continue without sending their minor children to classes until the director of the well-known Educational Institution, located in the center of the city, leaves office.
For the second consecutive day, the tutors held a sit-in at the door of the aforementioned educational institution, demanding with harangues and shouts the resignation of the authority, who is in office after winning a contest.
“If until Tuesday they do not solve us, the teachers who are not afraid to teach classes or be monitored, will teach their classes in the square, we are not going to enter here,” said the mother of the 1st E, Liz Enriquez Town.
“That director has already trampled on us, we don’t want to be trampled on anymore, let him just retire. I would tell the UGEL officials to withdraw it, ”he said.
Likewise, he affirmed that the parents demonstrate the breakdown of relations between the teachers, parents and the director and say they have as proof a screenshot of Whats App in which he would threaten the teachers and that he even verbally assaulted a teacher in front of his students. .
In his turn, the leader of Sutep Huancavelica, Zenón Pantoja, also reaffirmed this situation.
“There are parents who have complained of psychological abuse of children,” said the trade unionist.
He also denounced that there would be an alleged mistreatment of minors who, while playing, kicked a soccer ball near the address and were recriminated by the director.
The prosecutor arrived at Pepín and carried out an inspection of the premises, in which they found inadequate maintenance on walls, toilets, facades, among other facilities.
The director of the Huancavelica Local Educational Management Unit (UGEL), Dora Urribarri Ortíz, urged parents to abandon this attitude and send the students to school.
“If there is an inadequate relationship between the director, teachers and parents, what would affect the children being in the classroom?”, said Urribarri Ortíz.
In this line, he also said that, being the winner of the contest, as UGEL cannot withdraw it from the director, since, if he did, he could file a lawsuit and stay in the square with a court order.

“We have to take precautions as an education sector within our functions, that the due procedure is carried out, no matter how much the act is committed, we must raise a testimony, and that is what the commission is doing,” explained the educational authority.
Likewise, he announced that the norm contemplates that in order to be withdrawn immediately, there should be some physical aggression or sexual complaint, facts that are not in this case.
