A few days ago, the Magno school in the Buenos Aires town of Pilar, in the north of the suburbs, had communicated to eight families whose children have learning problems or a disability, who would be left without tuition for the next year 2023 because, according to the parents, the owner of the school said: “they lower the bar.”
After the case became known and several institutions and organizations publicly expressed their rejection of what happened at the Colegio Magno, The institution ratified its position through a statement that he sent by email to the educational community, teachers and administrators on Wednesday afternoon.
Lastly, Elorza asked the media to support “what is visible since I don’t know how this impressive nonsense that I never thought I would be living in is going to end.”
For his part, Pablo Basz, Emanuel’s father, told Télam that “there is still no news” and that “in this instance we are seeing how public entities react to an institution that at one point considers itself in rebellion.”
“The Ombudsman’s Office and the Department of Education of the province ordered to reverse this measure and after the deadline the school responds that they are not going to change anything. We are waiting to see how the process continues”Dad added.
On the other hand, also in dialogue with Télam, a mother from the school whose daughter is Emanuel’s classmate, but preferred to keep her identity safe to protect her children from any kind of retaliation, said: “When we had the meeting with the owner, whom we saw for the first time, was from a level of indifference, cruelty and violence towards the person of Manu that was amazing. Especially because of the lack of empathy towards her mother and the concerns of the rest of the parents present “.

And he added, regarding the position of the school, that “it is a matter of demonstrating power, this is my school and I do what I want; of a huge ego and zero reflection.”
“Manu and his companions, of which my daughter is a part, have achieved something superior, bringing the concept of inclusion to absolute equality,” said the woman, asserting that the boys “learn a lot from him, he makes them better children and they will be better people in the future”.
