The Athletico Paranaense qualified this Tuesday for the final of the Copa Libertadores-2022 after drawing 2-2 on their visit to palm trees, in the second leg of the tournament semifinals, and make good the 1-0 achieved in the first leg.

Palmeiras, champion of the Libertadores in 2020 and 2021, managed to turn the tie around, with an initial goal from Gustavo Scarpa (minute 3) and another from the Paraguayan Gustavo Gomez in 55.
The script of the game changed just before the break, when Palmeiras kept 10 after seeing the central murillo straight red.
With one more player, Paranaense went on the attack and managed to tie with goals from Pablo (64) and the Uruguayan David Terens (85), who had entered minutes before.
With qualification, Paranaense puts an end to Palmeiras’ continental reign and will play their second Libertadores final, after losing in 2005 against him São Paulo.
