The Republic of Paraguay and the Republic of Ecuador celebrate on this date the 142 years of the establishment of Diplomatic Relations, which enjoy an excellent level of understanding and are characterized by the consonance of visions and shared values.
During this time, the friendship between our nations has progressed continuously and has been reflected in a fluid relationship with the development of an ever-strengthening agenda.
On this commemorative date, the governments of Paraguay and Ecuador agree to continue working, with renewed enthusiasm, towards the consolidation of bilateral relations and the ties that unite both nations.
In this sense, and with the aim of continuing to deepen bilateral relations, they reiterate their willingness to advance in the commitments assumed on the occasion of the III Meeting of the Permanent Coordination Commission between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of both countries, on September 2 2021, particularly in the concretion of the mechanisms pending implementation in the areas of scientific and technical, cultural, educational, sports and tourism cooperation, and consular affairs and the interest of both parties to continue promoting bilateral trade and investments.
The Republics of Paraguay and Ecuador recognize the importance of commemorating this significant date, since in addition to remembering an important moment in their bilateral diplomatic history, it also allows paying a fair tribute to the gradual but firm evolution of the strengthening of ties between both nations.
