Paraguay and Ecuador agree to cooperation on electoral matters

Asunción, IP Agency.- The Superior Court of Electoral Justice (TSJE) and the National Electoral Council (CNE) of Ecuador signed an agreement to promote and define cooperation mechanisms in electoral matters.

The president of the Electoral Justice, Jaime Bestard, and the head of the CNE, Diana Atamaint, seek through this alliance to establish a National System of Political Financing in Ecuador, through the experiences that Paraguay has concerning the matter.

The aforementioned agreement will allow the TSJE to provide technical and computer support to the CNE, in addition to training on technological innovations on the subject, and other aspects that concern Political Financing for the duration of the signed commitment.

In addition, the document will empower the exchange of knowledge and experiences in terms of technical assistance, informed the Electoral Justice.
