The Ministry of Social Development, through the Deputy Minister of Social Policies, Cayo Cáceres, exchanged experiences with the Ministry of Citizenship of Brazil, with the aim of strengthening and opening possibilities to consolidate bilateral public policies in the area of social assistance.
The initial activities took place at the headquarters of the Ministry of Citizenship in Brasilia. There, Vice Minister Cáceres detailed the actions carried out by the State portfolio and highlighted the challenges faced by both countries in the fight against poverty.
The Paraguayan and Brazilian authorities agreed on the policies implemented between their governments aimed at reducing situations of poverty in their respective countries.
Among the planned activities are visits to Food Banks, the Alimenta Brasil Program, areas of Pedagogical Gardens Projects and the Social Assistance Reference Center.
