For several days the students of the district University Demonstrations are taking place in several of its locations, mainly due to the deterioration of the institution’s infrastructure, as well as against the administration for cases of corruption and against police abuse. According to the students, there are teachers who have not received their salary and some of the campuses do not have basic public services.

However, the day of demonstrations this Wednesday, June 1, has been one of the most intense, as there were strong clashes between students and the Mobile Anti-riot Squad (Esmad). near the avenues Villavicencio with Gaitán Cortés, in the south of Bogota.
