San Cristobal.- The most successful teams in the history of the LDF, Atlético Pantoja and Cibao FC, drew 0-0 in the league classic.
The match was held at the Pan-American Stadium in San Cristóbal, thus kicking off the third day of the playoffs.
The match was exciting throughout and in the first half, Pantoja’s warriors went for the three points, having lost to Moca in the last minute on matchday two. For their part, the Cibaeños looked more conservative at the start of the match and were surprised by the good play of the capital team.
The second half was very similar to the first, but there was more intensity and more chances for both teams, with the veteran Miguel Lloyd always being a key player who avoided the constant attacks of the warriors. For Pantoja, the unbalanced Herard Franzety stood out, who despite not scoring was the spark plug in the offense for those led by Piojo Quintero.
