The Santo Domingo Este Permanent Attention Office postponed for January 29 the knowledge of coercion against the eight involved in the Panthera 7 case, accused of mobilizing almost 10 tons of drugs.
The decision was made to seek to incorporate the new evidence to the accusation, of the last person who gave himself to the authorities.
“Other evidence of another accused was deposited, to determine and after that, with respect to those evidence, and if they merged the files,” said one of the lawyers of the accused in the process.

On his side, the Prosecutor of Santo Domingo Este, Milcíades Guzmán, explained that although evidence was added, in essence the case is the “same.”
“There was a postponement of the audience to know the evidence that is deposited, in relation to a person who delivered previous days,” he explained.
“At our request because they are two files, because there was a person who delivered later, but in essence it is the same,” he added.
